Yorkshire Day Celebration
Celebrate Yorkshire Day in true Yorkshire style with a sumptuous three-course luncheon with piano accompaniment by Alec Robinson. This year we are joined by the wonderfully eccentric Mad Alice and Lady Peckett for an afternoon filled with Yorkshire folklore, histories, scandalous secrets, and tales from the fascinating past of Middlethorpe Hall.
Arrive at 12noon for a Blood Orange York Gin reception with piano accompaniment by Alec Robinson, followed by a delicious three-course luncheon. Throughout the afternoon, guests will be entertained by Mad Alice between courses, while piano accompaniment creates a relaxed atmosphere during the reception and luncheon.
The three-course luncheon showcases the finest Yorkshire produce, from coastal waters off East Yorkshire to the Dales of North Yorkshire, Head Chef and Yorkshireman Ashley Binder will create a truly sumptuous menu, paired with selected wines, and followed by coffee or tea and Middlethorpe fudge.
Expect laughter, history, mystery, music, and a proper Yorkshire celebration in one of Yorkshire’s most ‘re-finest’ settings.
